LCCF Challenge Grants

LCCF has met several challenge grants to date. As part of its Celebrate 2000 program, the Helena Independent Record challenged counties covered by the newspaper to raise funds for their community foundations. We raised $9,000 in 1999, securing a match of $3,000 from the newspaper.

The Montana Community Foundation has challenged our Foundation to two matching grants inthe past three years. In 1999, we raised $7,500 which earned $2,500 in matching funds from the Montana Community Foundation.
